Well Wooo Hoo!! I really wanted a frappuccino today and i was reading a new book i got called Trim Healthy Mama and came across a recipe called “Fat Stripping Frappa” so i thought i would revise it some and make it mine! and while its not as sweet as an actual frappuccino from Starbucks its the closest i have ever gotten and tomorrow i will make another one and add a little more sweetener and see what that gets me yay!! OK so heres what i did
- 1/2 cup of almond milk (i used sweetened, the book calls for unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup of strong coffee
- 1 Tablespoon of cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon glucomannan powder (i will not use this next time i do not like the texture)
- a pinch of sea salt
- a few sprinkles of nustevia pure white stevia extract powder (not sure i will use this either i really don’t like fake sugars)
- dash of vanilla
- about 30 ice cubes
- 1/2 tablespoon of sugar in the raw (the book does not use this)
- 2 scoops of balance complete (the book calls for 1 scoop of whey powder)
and then blend blend blend!!! YUMMMMMM i also added some whipped cream to the top
next time i will add a full tablespoon of sugar in the raw and see how that is!!
